How big will this event be?
We’re aiming for between 15 and 25 people.

What’s in it for me?
Along with a free trip to Stockholm, you’ll learn about systematic reviews and systematic maps (formal methods for evidence synthesis), network with leading methodology experts, expand your professional and social networks, help to develop new tools that could change the face of evidence synthesis, have the chance to co-author academic publications about the hackathon and any tools that come out of it. Did we mention the free beer and pizza?

I’m new to coding – should I bother?
Yes! We’re keen to hear from people with a range of experience levels and professional backgrounds.

What computing languages are you focussing on?
We’re open to attendees with a range of skills. Many of the attendees will have a background in R; but we’re expecting python and java to be represented too.

I can’t afford to travel internationally – can I still attend?
Yes – we cover the travel and accommodation costs of all attendees.

I’m in the neighbourhood – can I just show up?
Unfortunately we have limits on space, so we’re asking people to apply in advance here.

Can you cover my salary while I attend the hackathon?
No – to ensure the largest possible number of people can attend, we are only covering accommodation and travel costs (+ food at the event).
